Hottest Male Characters in the Movies

When it comes to hot men in movies, there are some prerequisites, like a fit body and on-screen charisma. Foreign accents or a peak at the six-pack doesn't hurt the sex appeal factor either. Many of the characters featured here are men who have a 'dark' side and a noble hero side as well- like dual personalities. These two sides represent much more than fictional bliss in the movies, they represent the traits that women swoon over; 1. Strong (masculine and protective) and 2. Soft (tender and considerate). Those are some major turn-ons!

People magazine recently voted Hugh Jackman as the sexiest man alive. He was a hottie as Wolverine in X-men and as a vampire slayer in Van Helsing. He also has new movie out called Australia. Hugh Jackman is all muscles, sexy accent, and an amazing mysterious bad boy smile. Yep, I vote him sexiest man too.

Characters rich with infinite hottie possibilities are the vampire and werewolf. Most recently, Robert Patterson, British Hottie, plays every young woman's dream guy in Twilight. I guess if I had to fall for an un-dead mythical creature sort of guy, he'd be at the top of my list. Smouldering eyes, tousled hair, and skin that glitters makes him irrisistable. The list is long with hot guys playing vampires and I'm sure the trend is not going to die anytime soon.

Equally hot, and personally my favorite, is Taylor Lautner's character in Twilight as Jacob Black a shape-shifter werewolf- ok even is name is cool! He was about a 10 in Twilight, but he is off the charts new and improved in New Moon and Eclipse. He can keep me warm any night- move over Bella Swan.

Christian Bale in Batman Begins is a perfect movie if you want to see his bare chest and muscles in action...a lot! He truly makes a perfect Batman with his dark hair, chiseled features, and intensely dark eyes. Christian Bale has played so many vastly different characters in movies, from The Machinist (I couldn't even tell that was him) to American Psycho. He's in an upcoming movie rumored to be coming out in 2009; Terminator Salvation. I wonder if he'll have his shirt off? 

Ahh...Johnny Depp- no need to say more. He has a long history on the big screen, and once a teen idol on tv show 21 Jumpstreet, but nothing tops his pirate role on Pirates of the Carribean. Tally Ho ladies! This character reached out to the fantasies of many women and the fact that Orlando Bloom was in it didn't hurt our eyes either.

It seemed almost overnight that we witnessed Lenoardo Dicaprio turn into a man. His character, an undercover policeman, in The Departed was his official debut movie as a man's man. He was no longer the boy in Titanic or Romeo and Juliet. In Departed his face was gruff, voice deeper, and muscles bigger. Another movie, he was especially hot in was Blood Diamond. I'm so glad Leo grew up! Other hottie cops in The Departed include Mark Wahlburg and Matt Damon.

Brad Pitt and several glimpses of his bare skin in Troy is a recipe for satisfaction and two thumbs up. He's been on so many 'hot' lists, I can't keep up. Still, well in his 40's, he gives even the younger guys a run for their money. Other movies to check him out in are Fight Club, Oceans Eleven, Interview With The vampire, and Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

LL Cool J (Ladies Love Cool James). This guy revolutionized the definition of perfect six-pack washboard abs. He can whisper sweet nothings in your ear with an enticing R&B melody or lay it down dirty with a hard core rap. His role in S.W.A.T gave him a chance to show off those abs- yippee! The way he licks his lips while he's talking has made me a fan of his since the early 90's. Which guns are you checking out?

Will Smith has played every on-screen character imaginable, and they all have one thing in common- his ageless perfectly proportioned body...ok and his quick wit humor. It is no secret he works out religiously. You can see him working out bare-chested in I Robot. In Hancock he plays an interesting superhero.

 I started to pay attention to Star Wars right about the time Hayden Christensen became Luke Skywalker. He could take me anywhere in the galaxy and I'd be just fine with it. We've certainly seen him grow up the last few years and I still don't have anything to complain about.
