"If I don't write to empty my mind, I go mad". My journey here began with a heartfelt hub/article that I thought no one would read: That piece has 500+ comments on it...and growing. I emptied my mind and got an overwhelming response from readers. I appreciate my readers very much.

Even though writing is a selfish act for me (it's my drug of choice), I've learned there resides a happy place somewhere in the middle of pouring my soul out and people relating to it, even helping others on topics we ALL face.

Having said that, it's nice to meet you. I want you to have a real experience when visiting my hubs- I'm about as real online as you get without meeting me face-to-face.

I own a Psychology degree, but that's just a piece of paper compared to being a lifelong observer of life and people. I've worked in restaurants to research psychology, but currently I'm a freelance writer and stay-at-home mom.

My topics range from motivational, to relatable, to controversial. I like to discuss tough subjects; can be embarrassing, taboo, not politically correct, etc. Topics like religion, politics, social issues, and relationships. Sometimes my approach is entertaining and sometimes you may feel like you've been hit over the head with a 2x4...as  one of my readers turned good friend has explained me.

I'm not everyone's cup of tea. You might find me a bit cynical or sarcastic, but I'm honest and open-minded, love a good discussion, and have made some terrific friends and fans here- probably some frenemies too.
